  • Children’s book illustrator and publisher, graphic designer and caricaturist. My artwork and graphics have been published in magazines, newspapers and throughout social media. I also illustrate digital gift caricatures and on-site caricatures at private homes and corporate events.

American Physical Society (APS Physics), Washington, DC

Art Director and Special Publications Manager,  May 2002 - May 2005 Present

  • Led and managed a team of brand, design, and marketing professionals that worked on various elements of corporate communications. I was the project manager for APS Physics' internal departments, guiding them to develop and brainstorm successful marketing concepts. After working with leadership partners, I assigned the projects amongst the in-house communications, marketing, and graphic design groups.

Baltimore Sun, Baltimore, MD

Graphics Director,  May 2002 - May 2005 Present

  • Managed and collaborated with newsroom graphic artists, page designers,   photographers and reporters at Maryland’s largest newspaper.

  • Worked with the daily editors who planned the content, design, and layout for The Sun

  • Created front pages, infographics, web pages, and special coverage editions

  • Other responsibilities included copyediting and headline writing
